No two projects are the same, so the price varies. But we can say this: Michael Webster Photography provides top quality location photography at mid-range prices. We can provide quality work at relatively low costs because we do not maintain a physical studio, which allows us to keep the overhead low.
The Discovery Phase
Since no two projects are the same, it’s necessary to answer some basic questions before we can price out your project.
What kind of project is it?
How many photos do you need?
How many hours or days will it take?
Do you want prints? If so, how many, on what kind of paper (or canvas), and in what sizes? Do you want a specific package from a top custom printer, or would you rather make your own print and number selections from a high quality printer on-line.
Do you want a photo book? If so, what size, how many pages, fine Corinthian Leather for the cover?
Depending on how these questions are answered, there can be a great variation in prices. But in the end, you’ll get great photos for a great value.
We believe everyone should have the memories of their special event that great photography provides. Although we cannot provide that for everyone, we do set aside 25 percent of our schedule for those who could not otherwise afford it.
There are so many options available for printing these days that I feel it would be a disservice to the customer to offer a limited number of canned packages.
Instead, We offer two basically different ways to proceed, though of course one can do both.
Custom Packages – Custom packages can include any kind and number of prints, and will be priced based on those choices. For example, in addition to a regular package of 8 x 10’s, 5 x 7’s, and wallet photos, you may want a large museum quality Giclée, or canvas print.
You Pick-em – We set up a web site where you can order any number of prints in all the standard sizes. Photos will be printed by a premiere printer and delivered directly to you.
This is the best option for combining high quality and reasonable prices. It is also a great option for events such as reunions, parties, anniversaries, or even weddings, where family, friends, or guests might like to get photographs, too.
We have the book design and publishing expertise to help guide you through these choices and ensure you get the highest quality photo book that is crafted to reflect the uniqueness of your wedding or important event. Our photo books are professionally produced with the best photo papers to ensure the memories of your event are vibrant, never becoming faded or dull.
Photobook prices vary by number of pages, cover material, and paper type. You may want a leather cover, or fabric, or a classic hard cover? You may prefer glossy, matte, lustre, linen, silk, or other paper? You may want 20 pages, or you may want 32? You may want one copy, or you may want 10.
Prices start at $300 for one 6 x 9 book with 20 pages, a custom hardcover, and high quality lustre, high gloss, or silk paper. Additional books cost much less.
Orientation can be landscape, portrait, or square. Beautiful gift boxes are available.
Nice, realistic photos with minor enhancements are part of the standard fee. If you’d like some, or all of your photos to have a particular look – maybe like an old photo, or with certain colors or other aspects of the image, enhanced, muted or deleted – that can be arranged.
